Texas Aquatic Enterprises, Inc. is an aquatic management company that provides service in every aspect of residential and commercial pools.  Established in July of 2005, the company has created a solid foundation based on hard work, dedication and communication.  

Tommy Berretz, CEO and founder of Texas Aquatic Enterprises, Inc. has been involved in the Aquatic Industry for 13 years.  His aquatic career began at a water park in Houston in the early 90’s, and soon after became the director of south central Texas operations for a pool management company in Texas.  This inspired him to become an EMT, allowing him the opportunity to work on an ambulance for two years and in an emergency room for four years.  Combining his aquatic experience with his emergency medical experience alongside business partner Chris Schmidt, Tommy is able to provide the safest and best service possible in the aquatic industry.

Chris Schmidt, President and co-founder brings many years of education and business management to Texas Aquatic Enterprises, Inc.  Since graduating from Texas State University, Chris has had the opportunity to work throughout the country in many different environments.  His experience brings the highest level of integrity and work ethics to the business.  His goal is to set new standards that will maximize safety and make your aquatic experience enjoyable.

Nick Cooney, Vice President joined Texas Aquatic Enterprises, Inc. in March 2008. Prior to joining Texas Aquatic Enterprises, Nick worked for the nation’s leader in public/private real estate development. His focus was on complex residential development projects, partnering with the Department of Defense to provide housing for military families throughout the United States. Having swam competitively for 16 years, earning numerous NJCAA All-American honors, and coaching with USA Swimming throughout college, Nick brings a wealth of swimming and coaching experience to Texas Aquatic Enterprises. Nick holds a B.S. in Business Management from Wilmington University.
